Coldplay’s highly anticipated music video for their song “Feels Like I’m Falling in Love,” shot at the historic Herodeion theater beneath the Acropolis in Athens, has been officially released.
The band visited the iconic venue on June 10, 2024, capturing a stunning visual spectacle with a live audience present. The video features Chris Martin’s lyrics being translated into sign language by a woman at the start, followed by all band members participating in the signing throughout the performance.
Around 2,500 fans gathered at the Herodeion for the filming, responding to Coldplay‘s invitation via social media. Prior to entering, attendees signed confidentiality agreements and left their mobile phones behind, ensuring the secrecy of the production.
The video concludes with a breathtaking aerial shot of Athens under moonlight, captured by a drone, showcasing the city’s beauty as the backdrop to Coldplay’s musical tribute.
The band had obtained permission from Greece’s archaeological service to use the Herodeion for this special event, marking a memorable collaboration between Coldplay and their Greek fans in an iconic setting.
