An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred in Kefalonia, according to a preliminary estimate by the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 11:34 PM on Saturday, is located 4 kilometers northwest of Argostoli.
