During excavations in (Constantinople)Istanbul, a pair of 1,500-year-old sandals inscribed with the Greek message, “Use in health, lady, wear in beauty and happiness,” was discovered.

This remarkable find, along with numerous other artifacts, is shedding new light on the city’s rich Hellenic history.
