Berejiklian advises: "If you live in either the Fairfield, Canterbury-Bankstown or Liverpool local government areas, you cannot leave those local government areas for work unless you work in health or emergency services."

Residents of greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast and Wollongong are not permitted to leave their homes unless it is for one of four essential reasons.
