"The bustling port of Naoussa also has a warren of alleyways with jewellery and shoe shops, clothing boutiques, shops selling hats of all varieties and numerous restaurants and cafes. It also boasts of a couple of nightclubs," the journalist writes.

"No visit to Paros is complete without a trip to the ancient village of Lefkes. About a 20-minute drive from Parikia, this village on a hill, has existed for centuries, and was once the capital itself. Situated on higher ground, Lefkes offers unbeatable views of the sea and the nearby island of Naxos," DSouza adds.

Outlook Traveler is India's most widely read travel magazine and website, significantly influencing travel choices. According to a recent industry report, India's outbound travel market is expected to grow at an annual growth rate of more than 11% and surpass $44 billion by 2032.

The increased demand for outbound travel reflects the evolving aspirations and improving affordability of India's growing middle class and youth population, who are increasingly seeking international travel experiences. Indian passport holders now enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 57 countries, pushing the Indian passport up seven places to 80th in the Henley Passport Index.

Moreover, with India recently claiming the title of the most populous country in the world, the Asian country is gradually emerging as a strong force in the outbound tourism market, a fact that industry players are taking seriously.
