The social media world is mourning the loss of Farah El Kadhi, a beloved Tunisian beauty influencer who tragically died onboard a yacht in Malta. Farah, 36, passed away after suffering a suspected heart attack while on a week-long holiday.
Farah’s last Instagram post, shared just before the tragedy, featured photos taken in the beautiful cove of Agia Anna, next to Kalafatis beach, outside the famous Spilia Restaurant in Mykonos, Greece. In the pictures, she wore a vibrant pink and red kimono, with a simple caption that read, "Violets are blue… roses are red." These serene images from Mykonos in what was to be her final post, now serve as a poignant reminder of her vibrant life.
On June 17, Farah was found unconscious on the yacht docked in Msida, a harbour town in Malta. She was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, she could not be revived. According to local media reports, there were no signs of injury, and an autopsy is planned to determine the exact cause of death.
Farah was a well-known figure in the influencer community, particularly in Tunisia, where she was born. She previously worked as an architect for Key Concept and had successfully launched her own fashion brand, Bazarbyfaf. Her Instagram account, followed by more than one million people, was a platform for sharing her love for fashion and beauty.
Fellow influencer Soulayma Hneynia, based in Malta, raised the alarm when she couldn’t reach Farah. Soulayma described her friend as a “truly wonderful person, known for her kindness, generosity, and warmth.” She added, “Her positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.”
Many fans and friends have expressed their grief and paid tribute to Farah. Taher Toumi, an architect and interior designer, shared his condolences on Instagram, expressing the deep pain felt by those who knew her. He wrote, “You exuded energy full of joy and life! You lived this life as it should be and left a mark of love on everyone.”
One fan reminisced about meeting Farah on a plane, recalling her friendliness and sense of humour. Many others have shared their sorrow, noting that her absence will leave a significant void.
