The bodies of three women were found at Prangios near the Evros River, the coroner said in a preliminary finding on Wednesday.
Two of the women were aged between 15 and 18 years old, and the third woman between 30 and 35 years old.
According to the coroner their death came about from stab wounds in the neck, and had apparently occurred within the last two days. They carried no identification papers but he said they appear to be migrants or refugees.
Their bodies were transported to Alexandroupoli for an autopsy, while the police has begun investigations in the triple killing.
