Albanian army claim they are ready for war with Greece

Reports from Albania claim the Albanian Armed Forces are ready to take on the Greek Army, claiming Greece has provoked Albania in the wake of statements made by former Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, that the Greek Army does not recognise current Greek-Albanian borders.

"Albanian armed forces are ready to take on the Greek army. While Athens has added forces to the border with Albania, and former Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said a section of the Greek army does not recognise the border with Albania, the Albanian army is ready to respond with force to any kind of challenge or conventional assault," states pamfleti.net.

Among other things, the report titled: "Albanian Army Responds to Greece: Ready for War," the statement also says, "we will respond to any threat that may come from Greece or even from Serbia."

According to the report, Albanian armed forces are ready to engage in a wide range of combat and non-combat operations, both inside and outside the country, in known and unknown areas, as well as in difficult weather and ground conditions.

"A key role in this increase in quality will be motivation, leadership and staff quality management."

The document released to Albanian media states that the Albanian Army is equipped with modern design and is trained according to modern standards," sais Albanian authorities.
