Greek Australian Diana Rouvas has been crowned the winner of The Voice Australia for 2019!
Following a technically flawless performance of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ last week, Diana soared into the Grand Final and was the only female contestant, up against three male singers.
Known for her unfaltering grace, professionalism, humility and a vocal range akin to the greatest female singers of all time, Rouvas belted out Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" and the crowd and judges were up on their feet and Australia has their final chance to vote for their favourite singer.
"I'm overwhelmed, I can't believe it! Thank you so much," said Diana as soon as presenter Sonia Kruger announced she was this year's winner.
"I can't believe it, it's amazing, Diana is amazing!" said her coach Boy George.
