Thessaloniki man who presented with symptoms of Coronavirus, is discharged from hospital

The sixty-year-old man who was admitted to The AHEPA University General Hospital after resembling symptoms of the coronavirus, has been given the all clear and discharged from hospital.

A sample of his DNA had been sent for fast analysis to determine if he had the deadly virus, which has been declared a public health emergency of international concern by the The World Health Organization (WHO).

The man is married to a Chinese woman and lives permanently in China with his family.

AHEPA is one of 21 designated coronavirus reference hospitals throughout Greece and one of three in Thessaloniki.
