The Milwaukee Bucks’ annual ‘Greek Night,’ honoured brothers and teammates- Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo during their recent game against Denver Nuggets.

Those who attended the game, were given a free Greek themed T-shirt, and an even bigger surprise which was a moment for the history books, where they witnessed the first career start of Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s older brother, Thanasis.

Thanasis didn’t disappoint with a fastbreak jam in the opening minutes that brought the home crowd to its feet.

After the game together with the crowd, Giannis and Thanasis sung the Greek National Anthem, before the “Greek Freak” took the microphone and in Greek, thanked everyone.

The game was also special, as it took place a few days after the death of NBA legend and former Los Angeles Lakers star, Kobe Bryant. Giannis’ played with a special tribute to Bryant, with the words “Mamba 4 Life” written on his shoes.
