Australia’s largest airline has been grounded since early 2020, however internet users can now book overseas flights including to Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, the USA and UK, from July 1.

CEO Alan Joyce previously warned that passengers will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before they will be allowed to travel on an international flight.

The American and UK routes were previously off the cards until at least October 2021.

A Qantas spokesperson told the Executive Traveller that the airline hopes international travel to most destinations will resume by July 1.

"We continue to review and update our international schedule in response to the developing COVID-19 situation," the spokesman said.
