Syriza leader Alexis Tsipras' son tests positive for Covid-19

The son of Greece’s former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Orpheus, has tested positive for covid-19.

Tsipras, his wife and other son, Phoebus, tested negative.

The Syriza leader wrote the following on his personal Facebook account:

The coronavirus also visited our house today.

Last night, our Orpheus showed slight symptoms. We took the test in the morning and a while ago we learned the results. Betty and I and Phoebus were negative, but Orpheus was positive.

He is well and like most children, is expected to get over it easily.

According to the doctors, although I have done both doses of the vaccine, it has not been long enough for me to be completely immune and in any caseI have to stay at home as a precaution for a while, in order to exclude any possibility of further transmission.

I’m sure everything will go well.
