On Sunday, Greek National Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, they discussed geopolitical developments in the region and ways to boost bilateral relations in defense.
Panagiotopoulos stressed that Greece's strategic relationship with the UAE promoted security and stability in the greater region.
"My meeting today in the UAE with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was very constructive," he posted on Twitter.

Greece's Defense minister attended the opening of the IDEX 2021 international defence and NAVDEX 2021 Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibitions at Abu Dhabi that are funded by UAE President, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He also paid a visit to the Greek pavilions of the expos, where he met with representatives of the Greek defense industry taking part in the international events.
