Deputy Foreign Minister in Jerusalem for Holy Light Ceremony

Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Vlasis is in Jerusalem to attend the Holy Light Ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Earlier on Saturday he met with the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III.

"It is the highest honor and blessing to receive the Holy Light directly from the Holy Sepulchre and to bring it to the homeland," Vlasis posted on Twitter.

The deputy minister will return with the government plane carrying the Holy Light at 18:30 at Athens airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
