Athens is vying for the crown of Top European City Break destination at this year’s 28th World Travel Awards announced the Development and Tourism Promotion Department of the Municipality of Athens (EATA).
The Greek capital is competing against 15 other European cities including London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, Rome and Berlin.
Those who want to support Athens at the World Travel Awards, should register and then vote by clicking HERE.
At the “Tourism Oscars”, as these awards are often referred to, more than 2,000,000 electronic votes are cast each year, with the number constantly increasing.
Voting ends Wednesday, 14 July.
