Greek PM calls urgent Ministerial Cabinet meeting

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has called a ministerial cabinet meeting for today where it expected a raft of policy measures and updates on all fronts will be discussed.

The meeting, which will take place at 11:00am via teleconference, has the following scheduled agenda:

-Minister of Justice, Konstantinos Tsiaras, to present on amendments to the Penal Code.

-Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis to present the bill of the Ministry of Development and Investment: “General Commercial Register and One Stop Services – Incorporation of Directive (EU) 2019/1151”.

-Minister of Health, Vassilis Kikilias and the Deputy Minister of Health, Vassilis Kontozamanis to present  the legislative initiatives of the Ministry of Health:
a) Ratification of two donation contracts of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation: Establishment of a Pediatric Hospital in Thessaloniki and Larissa, b) Pharmaceutical associations: Codification and updating of the legislation,
c) Establishment of a legal entity under public law “Association of Radiology / Radiotherapy Technologists of Greece” (Ε.Τ.Α.Α.Ε.).

– Recommendations by the Minister of Justice, Konstantinos Tsiaras and the Deputy Minister of Justice, George Kotsiras, for the Ratification of the Hague Convention on International Adult Protection.

-Recommendations by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Konstantinos Hatzidakis, for the provision of consent for the minimum wage and the minimum wage in accordance with article 103 par. 7 of law 4172/2013 (A ‘167).

-Updates from the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Spilio Livanos, on the Common Agricultural Policy 2021-2027.
