Afghanis falling from the sky after latching onto US planes leaving Kabul airport and human body parts discovered in the landing gear, have been the tragic news coming out of Afghanistan, as desperate people try to flee from the Taliban.
Only last night the U.S. Air Force announced that it is investigating the circumstances under which human limbs were found on the wheel of one of the C-17 planes that flew from Kabul amid the chaos caused by the Taliban occupation of the city.
The Air Force said in a statement that the plane landed at Kabul airport on Monday and was surrounded by hundreds of Afghans.
"In the face of a rapidly deteriorating security situation around the aircraft, the C-17 crew decided to depart the aircraft as soon as possible," the statement said.
