Valentini Grammatikopoulou Wins against En-Shuo Liang 6-2 5-7 7-5 gets into US open Draw 1

Valentini Grammatikopoulou the 24 year old Greek Tennis player defeated En-Shuo Liang Of Taiwan 6:2 5:7 7:5 and is now into the main draw of the US Open.

This marks the first time EVER that 3 Greek players are in the US Open main draw.

In her first Grand Slam qualifying tournament in two years, Valentini came from behind in all three of the matches to win.

Not all people were happy with Valentini Win.

Filippo Scala demanded on his twitter feed

“By qualifying to the Ladies’ singles main draw Valentini Grammatikopoulou is completely messing up my Excel files/brackets. You should not be allowed to play professional sports if your last name has more than 14 letters. :)”
