Greek President cancels trip to Vienna after advice from Austrian President


The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou cancelled her trip to Austria due to the worsening coronavirus pandemic it was announced on Wednesday.

The President was scheduled to visit Austrian capital Vienna after an invitation from her Austrian counterpart President Alexander Van der Bellen.

Van der Bellen suggested the postponement of Sakellaropoulou's official visit to Vienna on November 12 due to the worsening coronavirus pandemic, to which Sakellaropoulou agreed.

A new date will soon be set.
