The long-awaited clash between Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr finally goes down this Saturday in New York.

The Brooklyn fighter was supposed to fight IBF mandatory challenger Kambosos in June on a Triller show but came down with Covid weeks before the fight.

It was put back to August, and then two different dates in October, while promoters Triller aimed to find a suitable night to place the fight.

Eventually, Triller had their rights to promote the fight taken away by the IBF, and the next highest bidder was Eddie Hearn's Matchroom and DAZN, who quickly put together a date and venue.
