Three Olympiacos players and one coach test positive for COVID-19 on eve of CSKA showdown

Three Olympiacos BC players and one member of the coaching team were diagnosed with COVID-19 two days before the home game against Russian outfit CSKA for the 19th game of the Euroleague.

The players and the member of the technical team were placed in a ten-day quarantine. I

It is noted that on Sunday, shortly before the victorious match against Ionikos, a case was detected in a player of the team.

Olympiacos is the fifth EuroLeague club with several members out with COVID-19.

These include Real Madrid (10 players and the head coach), Olimpia Milano (11 members), ASVEL Villeurbanne (four players and four staff members) and Panathinaikos Athens (three members).

The upcoming EuroLeague games of Fenerbahce Beko – Real Madria and Olimpia Milano are already postponed.

Olympiacos is planned to face CSKA Moscow Wednesday (29/12).
