Nick Kyrgios will go into the Australian Open without playing a tournament since late September after he was a late withdrawal from the Sydney Tennis Classic.
Nick Kyrgios has posted on Instagram that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
He was due to face Fabio Fognini in Sydney today – replaced by Daniel Altmaier.
Less than two hours before he was set to face Fognini, Kyrgios’ withdrawal was announced via the tournament’s entry list.
Still hopes to take part in #AusOpen, but that’s now in doubt.
