Images of destruction were captured in a drone video showing the extensive damage to the Traditional Olive Grove of Amfissa from Monday's huge fire.

According to estimates, in Itea, 3,000 acres of agricultural land (olive trees on the total area of ​​Eleonas is 55,000 acres) and about 9,000 acres of lowland and grassland have burned.

Elaionas of Amfissa is the largest contiguous olive grove in the country and belongs to the famous Delphic Landscape.

It is estimated that it consists of more than 1,200,000 olive trees, some of which exceed five metres in height, while their age is lost in the depths of the centuries.
