A well-known influencer from North Macedonia, the daughter of a politician from the neighbouring country, was arrested in Mykonos for participating in a criminal organisation that poured cocaine and XTC into the island.
In the ring that Mykonos police destroyed, in addition to the arrest of the explosive 21-year-old blonde, was also a 34-year-old North Macedonian cartel leader, a 35-year-old compatriot who was his right-hand man, and a well-known Lebanese DJ living in Athens who is from a well-to-do family.
The DJ usually spent his summers in Mykonos and used to buy cocaine from the gang.
The experienced Mykonos police officers managed to track the narcotics ring. According to the case file seen by Proto Thema, the police had been monitoring the ring for some time .
What emerged is that the gang members had distinct roles.
In particular, the 34-year-old as a leading member, directed his accomplices on where to store the drugs and how to make them available for customers.
The 35-year-old, with the assistance of the impressive 21-year-old influencer, whose father is a politician in the neighbouring country and whose mother is a lawyer, had undertaken the identification of clients.
Early on Wednesday morning when police were monitoring the triplet preparing suitcases to move from the accommodation where they were staying to an unknown direction to cover their tracks, they decided to intervene.
In the investigations they carried out, they found and seized 437 XTC drug tablets, 220.3 grams of cocaine, 270.9 grams of methamphetamine, 159.4 grams of cannabis, while investigations to identify their contacts continue.
They were "nailed" by the Lebanese DJ
During the police operation, the authorities also arrested a Lebanese DJ, who was a client of the cocaine cartel.
The 36-year-old resident of Athens, who comes from a well-to-do family and usually spends his summers in Mykonos, was in possession of 3.7 grams of cocaine.
In fact, in the statement he gave to the Police, he claimed that he procured the drugs from the criminal group.
