Hollywood great Woody Harrelson gave a special shout-out to the crew of the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman from on board a Greek-flagged vessel off the Ionian,
In the video clip, the Natural Born Killers star expresses his gratitude to the personnel and thanks them for their service whilst acknowledging the gruelling 18-hour days they endure working on behalf of their country in the pursuit of peace.

Harrelson is no stranger to Greece. In 2020 he was there for the filming of ‘Triangle of Sadness’ on Hiliadou Beach, on the island of Euboea (Evia).


Beginning on Evia, ‘Triangle of Sadness’ was filmed in Greece for 38 days of its 70-day shoot, with some filming also taking place on other Greek islands and a yacht in the Ionian sea.

Filming in Greece started on 19 September after being cancelled twice this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Ruben Ostlund’s ‘Triangle of Sadness’ is a satire that follows a model couple, played by Harris Dickinson and newcomer Charlbi Dean, who are invited on a luxury cruise.
