The granddaughter of former King Constantine II and daughter of Pavlos and Marie-Chantal, Maria-Olympia, has “opened her wings” in the field of fashion recently and is behind the new collection of bags of the famous Parisian fashion house Olympia Le-Tan.

One of the bags with the name “Athena”, with an owl embroidered on its front side, an emblem of the goddess Athena and a symbol of wisdom and prudence, was in an Instagram story by Tatiana Blatnik, beloved aunt of Maria-Olympia and wife of Nikolaos Glücksburg.
Maria-Olympia, the muse of the house of Louis Vuitton for Spring-Summer 2023, is not collaborating for the first time with such a strong fashion brand, as in 2019 she designed her first collection of shoes on behalf of the Pretty Ballerinas brand.
She intends to create her own fashion brand, following in the footsteps of her mother Marie-Chantal, who in 2008 launched her own children’s clothing company.
“I’ve always had such admiration for Olympia Le-Tan® as a brand and absolutely love how much time and detail goes into each and every OLT SAS – they are a work of art,” she said.
“I leave mine out for display,’ said the princess. ‘I knew they would allow me to make my bags super personal and fun and I wanted to create a collection that would appeal to everyone while still containing a piece of me. I believe this collection and the next do just that,” the up-and-coming fashion designer added.
Olympia Le-Tan, the daughter of Pavlos and Marie-Chantal, designed a series of clutch bags (in a limited numbered edition) that were all inspired by her personality and her love for life.
She said, “I knew they would allow me to make my bags super personal and fun and I wanted to create a collection that would appeal to everyone while still containing a piece of me. I believe this collection and the next do just that.”
The clutches, which are handmade and hand sewn in Portugal, are lined with a liberty print and contain a free NTF that can be download via a QR code. The bags are available with or without a strap and range from $2,277.02 to $2,732.42.
