The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) is facing difficulties in deciding a location for the Greek Cup final between AEK Athens and PAOK, which is set to take place on May 24.

Although the EPO has shortlisted two venues, including ones in Cyprus, Britain, and Poland, a final decision has yet to be announced.

Due to the high risk of fan violence associated with an AEK-PAOK fixture, finding an appropriate stadium location has been a challenge. In April, Cyprus rejected a request from the Greek FA, citing security concerns.

The mayor of Sosnowiec, Arkadiusz Checinski, in Poland, said on Facebook the issue was under discussion.

"Indeed, talks have been ongoing for several days," he said.

The EPO claims that their inability to find a suitable venue in Greece is due to a "coordinated attempt" to prevent them from hosting the Cup final.
