27-year-old former Miss Britain Zara Holland married Elliot Love in an idyllic three-day Greek wedding last week. The couple were together for seven years before getting engaged and even proposed in Dubai last January.

For the location of their wedding, they chose Greece, specifically "Island Art & Taste" in Athens, in front of 140 guests.

The bride was stunning in her white dress, which was embellished with florals on the sleeves that fell to her arms. The same floral pattern adorned her veil.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the former Miss Great Britain said: "It was the best day of our lives… it was perfect. I can't put it into words.

"It was a three-day wedding, the first day we did a welcome dinner at a family run Greek restaurant called Louizidis Tavern, it was a proper traditional Greek night, and we had a Greek band, and it was family sharing style food.

"The second day was the wedding and the third day we did a pool party, which was all white themed.

"We flew out of Heathrow airport with about 14 suitcases, it looked like we were immigrating!"

The bride, who waited 15 minutes for the groom, was accompanied by her father at her entrance, to the music of a harp and a violin.

She said: "It was such a special moment having my dad walk me down the aisle. I wanted to keep it as traditional as possible, even the night before we spent separately. As everyone arrived, we had a harp and violin duo playing, which was epic. I walked down the aisle to them playing away.

"We got married at half 6 in the evening. I was a little bit late… It sounds so stupid, but I couldn't find any scissors to cut the straps out of my dress!"

The ceremony was attended by the couple's close friends and family, including Zara's mother Cheryl Hackney.

"We had two best men, eight ushers, five bridesmaids, three flower girls and one page boy.

"Elliott is one of three brothers, so his brothers were there, their wives and girlfriends, it was a lovely family wedding, but we had a big group of friends too, it was just perfect.

"I said in my speech because it was the most happy and special day of my life, how could I not say any words?

"There were too many people in my life who were there that I needed to speak about and say thank you because without them this week wouldn't have been possible. Plus… I do like chatting away!'

The couple's first dance was performed to the Nat King Cole classic 'LOVE', which references the groom's last name and Holland's new surname, while guests enjoyed cocktails created especially for them by the bride and groom.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests partied until the early hours of the morning with music from The Function Band.

"We had a dinner, there was so much food, the drinks were flowing. We flew The Function Band out, it was the only thing I wanted at our wedding… they are incredible and worth every single penny.

"Now my name is Mrs Love… so we did our first dance to Nat King Cole L-O-V-E and The Function Band sang it which was even more amazing."

She added: "We had a bride and groom cocktail, so I had a Mojito and Elliott's was a Tommy's Margarita… we wanted everyone who came to have the best time. We did late night Margaritas… pizzas, not drinks. The wedding diet went totally out of the window by this point!"

"I had fans on everyone's seats. We had mini tambourines for everyone that we spray painted with Mr. and Mrs. Love.

"All the girls got makeup bags with the Greek evil eye with a hair bobble in case it was windy and flip flops, a pashmina in case it was too cold."
