Interpol raid for illegal betting ring

It is recalled that Interpol targeted Superleague 2 as part of investigations to crack down on an illegal betting ring.

In collaboration with the Greek authorities, Interpol raided the homes and offices of those involved and financiers of the division, seizing mobile phones, laptops, and other items.

The operation was planned for months by the international body and was implemented following similar operations in other European countries, starting with Austria and then in countries such as Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
