Turkish man kills Greek man at border crossing

57 year old Greek passes away after being run over by a Turk at the Kipoi Border Station

After a verbal confrontation between the two men, the 33 year old Turk ran over the 57 year old Greek, as the latter was exiting his vehicle, on Friday, July 7, 2023. The 33 year old is detained and his vehicle was confiscated as a result, while a case is being filed against him by the public prosecutor.

The 57 year old man was immediately transferred to the nearest hospital with heavy injuries, but, sadly he passed away 3 days later, on June 10th.
