The Greek-Swedish DJ Steve Angello, the headliner of the first day of the festival, is one of the most influential people in Electronic Dance Music, a DJ who, with his innovations and experience, is currently at the forefront of the world and on the list of the best DJs world.
Made famous by the supergroup 'Swedish House Mafia', and universally acknowledged for his endless talent, he has inspired remixes of the likes of Eurythmics, 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' (2004) and 'Tell Me Why', a cover version of an old Bronski Beat track (2006).
At 40 years old today, he is in the most mature phase of his career, a path that started as a teenager in Stockholm, and by the time he reached adulthood, he was already a professional DJ.
In the years that followed he performed on the world's biggest stages, topped international charts, garnered Grammy nominations and racked up billions of streams, with productions such as 'Show Me Love,' 'Be', 'Moth To A Flame' and 'Don't You' Worry Child", which most of us have danced somewhere.

The interesting thing about Steve Angello is that because of the festival, one of our people is returning to his homeland, Greece! Steve Angello is Greek-Swedish (from a Greek father and a Swedish mother), and his full name is Steven Patrik Josefsson Fragogiannis.
He was born in Athens in 1982 and returns to play there after many years. He's coming back like a king, thanks to all this recognition he's been garnering. Always bold, honest and with a break-the-rules mentality that makes him stand out both in the studio and live.
The explosive program of the festival's first day is completed by Lost Frequencies, Korolova and Regard.
The Belgian DJ-producer and creator of massive hits Lost Frequencies has been described as one of the most extraordinary talents in the field of electronic music, already counting over three billion views and streams on YouTube and Spotify, respectively.
Fully recognisable by hits such as "Are You with Me" and "Where Are You Now", he is a rising force and has remixed for artists such as Miley Cyrus, Major Lazer, Ed Sheeran and others.
On the other hand, Korolovafrom Ukraine managed to quickly stand out with her talent by uniquely combining melodic house with progressive techno music. Her melodic wandering sets tell stories and take the audience to another dimension, confirmed by the 30 million views on YouTube.
The program the first day is completed by Regard, one of the most dynamically rising DJs in the world, who, in just a few years, has managed to create hits that have become TikTok trends and have accumulated over 3.2 billion streams, and over 11 million sales worldwide.
It is reminded that the Primer Music Festival will occur on Saturday, 26, and Sunday, 27 August, in Water Square. Each day's program lasts about 6 hours and is accompanied by internationally renowned DJs and producers.
