Chalkida: A Turkish sailor was found dead inside a cargo ship in the port

The port authorities were alerted on Sunday (06/08) for a man found dead inside a cargo ship at the port of Chalkida.

According to eVima, the tragic incident occurred at the city port earlier this afternoon when a 70-year-old Turkish sailor was found unconscious on board.

According to the first indications, the death of the 70-year-old may be due to a pathological cause.

His body was transferred to the general hospital of Chalkida to perform an autopsy showing the exact cause of his death.
