Reigning unified WBA/WBO/IBF world champion from Ukraine, Oleksandr Usyk proudly held up the banner of the Greek Orthodox Holy Monastery of Esfigmenou which read "Orthodoxy" or death"
during his weigh-in ahead of his match against Daniel Dubois.

Usyk will defend his titles in Wroclaw, Poland this Saturday, August 26, at the Tarczyński Arena.

Usyk became an orthodox Christian while in hospital as a kid after having a conversation with a priest who was visiting children in his ward.
Since then, he has been very vocal about faith, giving praise to Lord after his boxing victories.
