The Greek player recently participated in the 2023 Davis Cup, representing his country. However, his performance was not up to par, as he lost both a singles and a doubles match, with only one singles victory. This injury comes at an inopportune time for Tsitsipas, as he had expressed his affinity for the Laver Cup and his desire to contribute to a victory for Team Europe.
