Mani: 60-year-old met a tragic death - He choked while eating

An unspeakable tragedy unfolded at a family's lunch at noon on Sunday in Paleochora Avias in the Municipality of Western Mani.

A 60-year-old man, as reported by ERT, who was with his wife and two children in a restaurant in the area, choked while eating.

Both doctors at the scene and people who knew first aid rushed immediately and tried to bring him back. An ambulance was called to the scene, which quickly arrived in the area, but the 60-year-old died a short time later.

According to Proto Thema, he was a resident of Attica and was in the area for the weekend.
