The investigation and five arrests for the murder of a 35-year-old Pakistani who was found dead in an open-air parking lot in an Athens neighbourhood in March were carried out by police officers from the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Freedoms of the Attica Security Directorate.
According to the police, the five Pakistanis killed their compatriot in Peristeri and then took his body to the outdoor parking lot, where his body was found.
As announced and reported by Proto Thema, another person with details in the case file is being sought for the murder.

The Department of Crimes Against Life and Personal Freedom of the Attica Security Directorate has solved the case of the homicide of a 35-year-old foreigner, whose body was found at noon on 03-22-2023, in an outdoor parking lot in Aspropyrgos, Attica.
For the case, five (5) foreigners - of the same nationality as the victim - were arrested in the afternoon on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in Peristeri and Agios Ioannis Rentis, Attica, under relevant warrants, while one more person is included in the case file.
The identity of the victim was verified by dactyloscopic verification, which at the initial stage of the investigations was unknown, while the autopsy carried out at the above location - where his body was found - yielded important information that led to the clarification of the case.
This was followed by an appropriate evaluation and utilisation of informative and pre-investigative data, from the further analysis of which the involvement of the above defendants was established.
In particular, it was established that the homicide was committed in Peristeri, while it was further established that the defendants were also involved in transporting the victim's body to the area of Aspropyrgos.
Those arrested will be taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
