The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius, one of the oldest churches in the world, was reportedly targeted last night by Israeli airstrikes. However, it appears that the church itself only sustained moderate damage. The actual target hit was located next to the church complex, causing it to collapse onto a section of the church during the attack. The offices of the church, where many people were present, have been affected, and a search is currently underway to locate the missing individuals. The reason for the church's offices being hit remains unknown.

Families sought refuge in the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius to protect themselves from the bombs during the airstrikes.
