More Greek cinema gems screening tonight in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide as part of this year’s Greek Film Festival, Australia with encore screenings added in some locations due to popular demand for what appears to be a very successful festival!

SYDNEY SCREENINGS
In Sydney, audiences will have the opportunity to see the festival’s opening night film BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS by Asimina Proedrou and the Greek-Spanish co-production WINDOW TO THE SEA by Miguel Ángel Jiménez.

ENCORE SCREENINGS: Meanwhile the Festival in Sydney has announced additional screenings to its programming schedule due to popular demand. After several sold out sessions since Opening Night on Thursday 19 October, additional sessions have been added to allow audiences to catch the Festival’s most popular films.

“These encore screenings are an excellent last chance for Sydneysiders to catch some of the most talked-about titles at this year’s Festival,” says Festival Chair, Nia Karteris.

Sat 4 Nov – Karagiozis the movie – 10:00am

MELBOURNE SCREENINGS
In Melbourne, audiences will have the opportunity tonight, Friday 27 October to see BLACK STONE by Spiros Jacovides DIGNITY by Dimitris Katsimiris and the documentary ART OF THE LUTE IN CRETE by Costas Charalambakis.

ADELAIDE SCREENING
In Adelaide, audiences will have the opportunity to see the Cypriot feature IMAN by directors Korinna Avraamidou and Kyriakos Tofaridis.
