The Workers' Union of the efood delivery platform of the Attica Region declared a strike on Saturday and called for a strike march to sign an operational collective agreement with salary increases and rights vesting.

In their announcement, they accuse the company of refusing to respond to specific requests.

Specifically, they state: "During this period, the company continued to further devalue the work of fellow freelancers with a series of unilateral actions, such as pay-per-order changes, adjusting our income according to its profits. Also, from Monday, October 16, distribution began on a 24-hour basis, with the beginning of the 'midnight party of their earnings' initially undertaken by fellow freelancers."

The workers claim:

- The company should immediately sign the Collective Agreement without delay.
- To guarantee 5 days - 35 hours for all distributors, whether employees or freelancers, with a minimum salary of 1,000 euros (with additional three-year terms, holidays, and sickness allowance).
- That there be health and safety measures for all the company's employees, that the Personal Protection Equipment provided be provided immediately.
- Make substantial increases for office workers.
