Pulp will be in Athens on June 20 for Release Athens Festival

Pulp

Pulp, perhaps the best band of Britpop, is coming to Athens next summer for a concert.

The band from Sheffield will perform at the Release Festival in Plateia Nerou, Athens as part of their European tour.

Their Greek fans - who are many - will have the opportunity to see Jarvis Koker on stage and the other band members that marked the 90s. They may have started in the 80s (the first record was released in 1983), but success came in the following decade.

Three great albums, one after the other, made them public favourites and introduced them to the general public.

'Separations' in 1992, 'His 'n' Hers' in 1994 and the masterpiece 'Different Class' in 1995 brought them to the top.

"Common People" from "Different Class" featuring the Greek art student hone of the most recognisable British songs and a penetrating sociological analysis.

This was followed by 'This Is Hardcore' in 1998 and 'We Love Life' in 2001, completing their recording career.
