From the first moment of the arrival of Nikos Androulakis at the (National Technical University of Athens) Polytechnic on Thursday morning, tension prevailed as the president of PASOK tried to lay a wreath, as seen in the following video.
As soon as Androulakis passed the NTUA gate, young people started throwing coffees at the president of PASOK. As can be seen in the footage, the security guards of Androulakis initially tried to fend off the coffees with their hands.
However, when the president of PASOK arrived in front of the monument to the victims of the Polytechnic uprising, umbrellas were deployed, which - despite the good weather - Androulakis's security had planned to have with them to avoid any of the plastics landing.
