The new Suzuki Swift in Greece in March 2024!

Suzuki Swift 2024

One month after the official unveiling of the new generation of Suzuki Swift, we expect it soon in our country.

Suzuki officially unveiled the fourth-generation Swift in Japan at the beginning of November, following on from the prototype it presented in the fall at the Tokyo Motor Show.

As announced by the Greek representative of the Japanese brand, the iconic hatchback is expected in our country in March 2024, which means that its prices will be announced very soon so that the first orders can begin.

The Swift has always been one of the most popular fun-to-drive and style-packed hatchbacks, winning numerous awards from the model's world debut in 2004 to the present day.

It has also charted a particularly successful course in the Greek market, winning the hearts of drivers looking for a flexible and reliable car. The attractive design, advanced technology and impressive economy make it one of the best-selling compact hatchbacks in Greece.

It has a comfortable and spacious cabin with a refined and ergonomic design, offering the ultimate driving experience. The driving position is designed to provide ergonomics and an immersive experience for the driver, with the controls being driver-centric, ensuring easy and hassle-free use.

The elegant two-tone black and light grey on the dashboard and front door trim, combined with the details in satin plating and dark silver, enhance its dynamic and sporty appearance.

9-inch Multimedia Screen

The 9-inch HD touchscreen offers a quick and accurate response to every touch. It is compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ via WiFi and USB, supports voice recognition, plays music via Bluetooth® and displays information about the vehicle's status.

Upgraded security systems

Brake Assist System II (DSBS II)

A millimetre range radar and a camera are combined to detect vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians in front of the car and help avoid frontal, diagonal and side collisions. When a risk of collision is detected, audible and visual warnings are activated. If the driver does not brake sufficiently, brake assist is automatically activated to help slow the vehicle. In an increased likelihood of a collision, the system starts the brakes automatically to help reduce impact force and limit property damage.

Lane Keep Assist (LKA)

When the adaptive cruise control system is activated, the lane-keeping system helps the driver stay in his lane. In addition, if it detects an adjacent vehicle or other obstacle too close to the driver's car, it provides steering assistance to maintain a safe distance.

Driver Monitoring System (DMS)

The driver's eyes and face are detected through an integrated camera in the instrument panel. Suppose the system detects that the driver is drowsy, has fallen asleep, or is not looking at the road. An audible warning is activated in that case, accompanied by a corresponding indication on the instrument panel display.

Additional safety systems:

– Lane Departure Prevention System

– Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

– Traffic Sign Recognition function

– Blind Spot Monitor

– Rear Cross Traffic Assist (RCTA)

– eCall Emergency Call System

New 1.2L engine with 12V SHVS mild hybrid system

Swift's new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine features multiple improvements, combining advanced fuel economy, reduced emissions, and higher low-rpm torque for more immediate response and better overall performance.

The engine is combined with the SHVS mild hybrid system for improved environmental performance. By converting kinetic energy generated during deceleration and storing it in the lithium-ion battery, the SHVS soft hybrid system boosts the engine during acceleration for greater fuel efficiency.

ALLGRIP AUTO

ALLGRIP AUTO is an automatic four-wheel drive system that activates when it detects a loss of traction on the front wheels. If front wheel slip is detected, the cohesive clutch is activated to automatically transfer torque to the rear wheels, thus offering traction for more comfortable and safe driving on snowy roads or slippery surfaces.

SUZUKI CONNECT

The app uses the vehicle's Data Communication Module (DCM) to keep the driver connected to their car at all times and benefit from the advanced features of the Suzuki Connect app. Some SUZUKI CONNECT functions are available via the 9-inch HD touchscreen for added convenience.

Basic functions:

– Status Notification

– Parked Car Locator

– Driving History

– Notification of Georestriction and Traffic Prohibition

– Security Notice

– Warning Light Notification

– Periodic Maintenance / Recall Notification
