The easy homemade chocolate liqueur for winter evenings

chocolate liqueur

If I were asked to list my top winter drinks, first place would undoubtedly go to chocolate.

Equally tempting is chocolate with alcohol, in an interesting sweet liqueur.

The pleasant thing - and perhaps practical - about the whole affair is that we don't even have to look in the market for ready-made chocolate liqueur.

Follow the recipe below and prepare it at home as easily and with guaranteed success. So fast and so simple!

chocolate liqueur

Ingredients (for 1 litre)

500 ml milk
140 g unsweetened cocoa
300 ml cream
350 g white granulated sugar
140 ml vodka or white rum

Procedure

Pour the milk and cream into a small saucepan and mix. Add the sugar and cocoa and continue mixing until the ingredients are homogenised and the mixture begins to boil.

Take the pot off the heat and let it come to room temperature. Once it has completely cooled, slowly add alcohol and mix. Pour the mixture into a clean glass bottle, close it and store it in the refrigerator. Serve in liqueur glasses as long as it is well chilled.
