British tour operator EasyJet Holidays is offering free holiday places for grandparents to travel with their family to popular destinations like Greece, Italy and Spain reports the Independent.
According to the news report, EasyJet Holidays made the decision after their research survey of 2,000 British adults, found that just over half of respondents had never holidayed with their grandparents.
“This research shows how important grandparent and grandchild relationships are and how much can be learned from making time for them.” said Matt Callaghan, chief operating officer at easyJet Holidays.
“We’re proud to offer thousands of free kids’ places, but we feel it’s time to recognise the grandparents." he added.
