Greek synchronized swimming world champion Evangelia Platanioti took out the silver at the Doha World Aquatics Championship on Tuesday with the Hellenic Olympic Committee singing her praises in a social media post on X:
"Evangelia Plataniotis was outstanding, taking out silver at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha. After the gold in the solo technique, she won the silver medal in the final of the solo freestyle program. Congratulations Evangelia, you are making history!" said the post.
Platanioti, had previously taken out the gold medal in the women’s solo technical final in Qatar last Saturday, achieved a total of 253.2833 points.
