30 years later

It is the first time that, after 30 years, our country wins this particular award in GTA Sweden.

The event has been organised for 32 years by the professional website Travel News and is considered the most important annual meeting of the Swedish tourism industry.

The winners in all award categories are determined after a survey of around 400 travel agency executives evaluating their best suppliers, as well as a representative sample of 4,000 Swedish tourists who have taken at least one trip in the last year with at least an overnight stay.

According to the latest data on arrivals at Greek airports, in 2023, 544,097 Swedes visited Greece, with Greek cuisine and the feeling of security they enjoy in our country as their main factors of satisfaction.
