Reports indicate that the supply of Turkish-made Bayraktar drones and artillery shells to Ukraine, which were due to be financed with European funds, has been vetoed by Greece, Cyprus, and France. These three countries reportedly coordinated their efforts to restrict the transfer of military assets to Ukraine.

The Bayraktar TB2 drones and artillery ammunition are considered vital support for Ukraine, as it faces ongoing conflict with Russia. In response to the veto, Turkish drone maker Baykar has begun constructing a factory in Ukraine to enhance production capabilities. The Bayraktar drones have gained global prominence and have been exported to numerous countries, with Baykar becoming Turkey's top defense exporter in recent years.
