The start of the Greece-Japan Culture and Tourism Year 2024 was officially launched on Thursday at a Japanese Embassy event on the occasion of the celebration of His Majesty Emperor of Japan Naruhito, to which the Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni was invited.
Kefalogianni said that even though Greece and Japan are far away, both nations and peoples have many in common and mostly a deep respect for tradition and hospitality. Japan looks forward to increasing the tourist flows to Greece and has committed to implementing a series of actions in the context of the Culture and Tourism Year, most importantly, its participation in Posidonia 2024.
Olga Kefalogianni wished success to Greece-Japan Culture and Tourism Year 2024, which aims to promote the culture and strengthen the tourist flows between the two countries.
