Kensington Palace has announced that Prince William of Britain will not be able to attend the memorial service for his godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece, due to a personal matter.

The palace did not provide further details, but confirmed that Princess of Wales, who is recuperating from abdominal surgery, is progressing well.

In their statement, the palace mentioned that Prince William personally contacted the Greek royal family, who will be present at the memorial service held at St. George's Chapel, to inform them about his inability to attend.
